Ayman Amer, General Manager of SODIC, said that “The Estates” and “VYE” projects embody the client’s dream in an ideal environment that combines tranquility and entertainment, with a strategic location that makes you close to everything you need. We launched “The Estates” project in 2019 as the first project to be implemented in New Sheikh Zayed, just five minutes away from “SODIC West”. This project is distinguished by providing 160 thousand square meters of open spaces, and includes four development phases. He continued during his interview with the real estate magazine: The first phase started in 2020 and has already been delivered, while the second phase started in December 2021 and is scheduled to be delivered in 2024, while the third phase started in November 2022 and will be delivered by June 2025, and the fourth and final phase of the project will start in June 2024, and is targeted for delivery in 2027. The project includes a total of 446 housing units, and extends over a green area estimated at about 286 thousand square meters. In addition, the project includes a social sports club with an area of 5 thousand square meters, and commercial areas with an area of 2751 square meters.
He stated that as for the "VYE" project, it extends over an area of 464 acres and comes in partnership with the New Urban Communities Authority. The project is located on the first land allocated in New Sheikh Zayed City, just ten minutes away from the "SODIC West" project, and "VYE" aims to provide more than 5 thousand housing units distributed across a number of neighborhoods.
He explained that the first district, “VYE”, extends over an area of 116.3 acres, while the second district, “Karmell”, extends over 113.8 acres, and the third district extends over an area of 153 acres. The project includes a club extending over an area of 49.9 thousand square meters, commercial areas covering 150.8 thousand square meters, and service areas covering an area of 81 acres. Currently, 2,139 units are being developed in the “VYE” project, and the delivery of the first phases is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2025. It is planned to deliver about 1,991 units between 2025 and 2026.
