1.1 trillion pounds in project investments in partnership with 76 developers to develop 16 thousand acres

Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, said that the state is implementing projects in partnership with the private sector (more than 76 developers) on an area of about 16 thousand acres, with an investment value amounting to 1.1 trillion pounds.

Al-Gazzar added that the state’s share of it is 311 billion pounds, and these projects provide about 310,000 job opportunities, and these projects are distributed among 8 projects with large areas larger than 400 acres.


He pointed out that there are 15 projects with areas of less than 400 acres, and 53 projects (Sawari Company), and the time frame and facilities range from 5 to 15 years for projects with large areas, pointing to industrial development projects in new cities, where 21 new cities contain industrial areas. Existing, the total area of industrial zones is 80 thousand acres, and the total number of building and operating permits for the period (2014 - 2023) is 35 thousand building permits.
